The Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) range of pro-biotics have been developed within the Sabre Sciences/Pharmax alliance and have been proven in both clinical trials and by practitioner usage for over 11 years in Europe.

The role of pro-biotics in human physiology is both varied and of fundamental importance. However, part of the reason why their full benefits are not achieved in practice is the lack of delivery to the GI tract. Moreover, many bacterial isolates used as pro-biotic organisms do not reach the GI tract in either sufficient numbers or are poor colonizers and, therefore, pass quickly through the GI tract, eliciting only a temporary effect. The HLC pro-biotics colonize the GI tract more effectively and last longer since this is the human strain of pro-biotics rather than dairy or plant derived strains. Hence, for a pro-biotic to be effective, there are many features to be considered.

The Sabre Sciences Pro-Biotic system offers a concentrated form of normal flora. The Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifiidobacteria promote intestinal and overall health. Lactobacillus acidophilus is one of the most important and well-researched microorganism that inhabits our gastro-intestinal tract. The organism makes its home in the small intestine, where nutrient breakdown and absorption take place. 

Two of the many benefits of Lactobacillus Acidophilus are its ability to manufacture B-complex vitamins, and to produce enzymes which aid in digestion of protein and lactose (milk sugar). Lactobacillus Acidophilus also destroys problem-causing bacteria through the creation of acidophilin, a natural antibiotic. Acidophilin may help control the overgrowth of candida albicans (the culprit in yeast infections) by the production of hydrogen peroxide. Studies show acidophilus has been helpful in the treatment of yeast infections, herpes simplex I and II, acne, mouth ulcers and travelers' diarrhea. Maintaining healthy gastro-intestinal levels of good bacterial organisms may also prove helpful in controlling auto-immune symtoms (rheumatoid arthritis and chronic fatigue syndrome).

Directions for Re-Colonization program of Human Strain Probiotics, Use as Follows:
  
Phase 1 Treatment Time: 14 Days 2 bottles required
  • 7 packets per bottle, 1 packet per day, Daily dose of 30 Billion active cultures per packet.
  • Use intensive formula (powder): Take ½ pkg. 2 times daily (am & pm), added to 4 oz. Water/juice and shaken vigorously. Use 5 min. prior to the start of breakfast and dinner for the first two weeks.
Day 1-5: take 1 teaspoon of powder in AM and 1 Teaspoon PM and mix with 4 ounces of water, take 5 minutes prior to start of breakfast and dinner. Then gradually increase dosage until you are taking ½ package 2 times daily (am & pm) amounts and mix with 4 ounces of water, take 5 minutes prior to start of breakfast and dinner.
